Summary

On June 15, 1951, two pilots from an airbase observed a bright, circular or spherical object in the sky at the same altitude as their aircraft. The object appeared to grow in size and then moved on a slightly ascending trajectory, taking an oblong shape before disappearing. GEIPAN classified the case as D1: an unidentified strange phenomenon.
