Congressional UAP Hearings
The 118th and 119th Congresses held three major public hearings on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. The 26 July 2023 House Oversight subcommittee hearing featured David Grusch, Ryan Graves, and Cmdr. David Fravor under oath — the most-cited modern public UAP record. The 19 April 2023 Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing took testimony from AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick on the office's mandate and methodology. The 9 September 2025 House Oversight follow-up returned to UAP whistleblower protection with five new witnesses.
Open UAP carries the full GPO-published transcript of each hearing and the per-witness written statements as filed with the House Oversight Committee. Read the transcript alongside each statement — the written submissions set out the witness's account; the transcript captures the questioning, contradictions, and committee dynamics. Together they are the canonical public record of US-Congressional UAP oversight in this era.
