Federal Bureau of Investigation UAP records

FBI records on unidentified phenomena span eight decades: the 1947 Hottel memo, late-1970s animal-mutilation files from the Carter-era field-office FOIA campaign initiated by DoJ's Philip Heymann, and modern serial photographs and FD-302 interview reports from 2023 onwards. The FBI Vault is the primary host; the corpus here mirrors FBI Vault structure (Sections, Serials, Sub-A) verbatim.

FBI files are heavily redacted in the standard FOIA way (black bars, exemption codes). Where OCR recovers little, AI summaries here are metadata-only and clearly labelled. The originals are the trustworthy unit.
