Guebling, France — Three bright lights observed at low altitude

Summary

On January 7, 1978, around 4:50 AM, a witness on a moped saw three very bright lights near the ground. One of the lights moved closer to the witness and followed them until they reached the entrance of a nearby village before disappearing. No noise was heard, and no helicopter flights occurred in the area that night. The phenomenon was not identified.
